This sophisticated and highly infectious mambo is written in a moderate tempo and features solo space for trumpet and alto sax. (The flute part is optional) Originally composed for the Mario Bauza Orchestra, the title refers to Mario´s dog, Piro. (Para Piro in English is For Piro). It was ultimately recorded on a tribute album to Mario by the band Cubarama, produced by Paquito D´Rivera on Termidor Records. This new edition is completely re-edited and engraved with explicitly written out rhythm section parts.
